Bob Nicholson


Singer/songwriter Bob Nicholson has been performing “American Acoustic” music throughout the tri state area for over 40 years. From his first appearance on “Ted Mack’s Amateur Hour” in 1965, Bob has performed in various popular local bands and as a soloist either opening or headlining with artists including Sloan Wainwright, The Kennedy’s, Cliff Eberhardt among others. 

Black Bear Records recording artist Bob has released “WFDU Live” (2002) on CD from a NPR radio broadcast. He also wrote “Psycho Sisters” title song from the shock movie, Oglio Records, “Psycho Sisters Original Soundtrack” (1998) on CD with the DVD release. His classic song "Lady of the Light remains on “Neil Young's Living With War Today” website in the top 10 and has reached Number One. Currently Bob is finishing up his forthcoming Black Bear Records CD titled "About Time" for  release.

Bob continues to play every show with the same passion and emotion sharing with his audience. In addition to his own music, Bob's live show includes his unique interpretations of the classic "baby boomer" hits from the 60's and 70's for a memorable night of reminiscing and entertainment not to be missed. 

Also an accomplished producer/recording engineer, Bob is the proprietor of a multimedia group, Hyde Music, which consists of a recording studio, music publishing (ASCAP) and an independent record label.
